Thailand presented its first national report on the human rights situation in the country at the 12th Session of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Working Group. The report was adopted at the 19th Session of the Human Rights Council (HRC) in March 2012. Thailand received a total of 172 recommendations, 134 of which have been accepted in whole or in part.
