Mrs. Vajrabhaya has served as Thailand’s representative to the ASEAN Commission on the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Women and Children (ACWC) and was elected as the Chair of the ACWC during 2011-2013. Mrs. Vajrabhaya served as Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security from 2005 to 2010. She spent more than 20 years working dedicatedly in the area of the promotion of women’s rights and gender equality at the national, regional and international levels.
