ตามที่เมื่อวันที่ 23 กันยายน 2559 คณะผู้แทนไทย นำโดยเอกอัครราชทูตผู้แทนถาวร ณ นครเจนีวา พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ กระทรวงยุติธรรม และกระทรวงการพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ ได้เข้าร่วมการรับรองรายงานผลการนำเสนอรายงาน Universal Periodic Review (UPR) รอบที่ 2 ของไทยในช่วงการประชุมคณะมนตรีสิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งสหประชาชาติ สมัยที่ 33 ณ นครเจนีวา โดยคณะผู้แทนไทยได้แจ้งตอบรับข้อเสนอแนะของไทย โดยสรุป ไทยได้ตอบรับข้อเสนอแนะทั้งหมด 187 ข้อ จากข้อเสนอแนะที่ไทยได้รับทั้งหมด 249 ข้อ อีกทั้งได้แจ้งคำมั่นโดยสมัครใจอีก...
